DESCRIPTION:Design a bookmark around the theme “The Loudest Library.” The bookmark contest form is available here\, on the library website and at the Chinn Park Mini Library or Montclair Library. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe contest runs from January 2 to March 12\, 2026. \nThe bookmarks of the first-place winners (one for each grade\, K through 5) and the grand prize winner’s bookmark will be printed and available at the library in early summer.\nThe Grand Prize Winner will also receive an autographed copy of “Orson and the World’s Loudest Library” by local author Laura Gehl.\nPrizes will be awarded at the Talking to the Author presentation at Montclair Library on Saturday\, April 11th at 2:00 p.m.\, with special guest Laura Gehl. \n\n\n\nFunded by the Friends of the Library

DESCRIPTION:The Prince William County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority\, Inc. (PWCAC-DST) will celebrate its 41st annual Dr. Martin Luther King\, Jr. (MLK) Youth Oratorical Competition and Program on Monday\, Jan. 19\, 2026\, at 11 a.m. (Doors open at 10 a.m.) This year’s event will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church\, 18410 Chapel St.\, Triangle (off Route One\, near Quantico MCB). Middle school and high school students from throughout the Prince William County area will display their amazing oratorical skills and children of all ages will sing songs of celebration in the MLK Youth Community Choir.
