DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate Halloween with an educational twist at Prince William Water’s 4th annual Trick or Treatment event! Enjoy trick-or-treating at tables hosted by local environmental and community organizations while learning about wastewater treatment. \nCostumes are optional but encouraged! Please refrain from any costumes that may be seen as offensive or that include a weapon. \nAll goblins and ghouls are welcome! \nIf you would like to sign up as a community partner\, fill out the registration form: Trick or Treatment Partner Registration  \nDate: October 24\, 2026\nTime: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.\nLocation: H.L. Mooney Advanced Water Reclamation Facility\, 1851 Rippon Blvd. Woodbridge\, VA 22191 \nPlease note: Due to heavy construction at the facility\, there will be no general on-site parking available. All attendees must use the shuttle service located at Mary G. Porter Traditional School\, 15311 Forest Grove Dr\, Woodbridge\, VA 22191\, which will run from 9:45 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Shuttles will transport guests to the event from 9:45 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. After 1:30 p.m.\, shuttles will only be available for return trips from the event back to the offsite parking location. Please be mindful of these times and plan your arrival and departure accordingly. \nLimited on-site parking will be available for guests with handicap placards or license plates. Guests are also welcome to take our accessible shuttle from the off-site parking location to the event.

SUMMARY:Town of Occoquan Costume Parade & Contest
DESCRIPTION:Join the Town of Occoquan’s family-friendly Occoquan Costume Parade & Contest on Saturday\, October 31 from 10:00am-12:00pm. Starting at 10:00am\, Town of Occoquan Mayor Earnie Porta (aka Iron Man) will lead the parade down Mill Street to River Mill Park\, where costume judging will take place. Judging categories include: cutest\, scariest\, funniest\, most original\, and family/group. \nParade participants will line up near the Riverwalk Shops at 125 Mill Street by 10:00am. The 100 through 400 blocks of Mill Street will be briefly closed on a rolling basis between 10:00-10:30am.  \nThere is no fee to participate. This event is open to everyone!​ No advance registration is necessary. \nAfter the parade\, trick-or-treat your way back through town! Participating businesses will have goodies for the kids.
