DESCRIPTION:To increase local school readiness through the distribution of school supplies and other resources to prepare them for the school year\, Prince William County Public Schools and the Prince William County Community Foundation will host a` free community event for the entire family. Enjoy free food\, STEM activities\, school supplies\, career exploration\, entertainment\, and so much more! All items while supplies last. \nThere will also be resources and services for our families\, including healthcare information\, PWCS program information and offerings\, and more. \nStudents and families will have the opportunity to meet school staff and Superintendent Dr. LaTanya D. McDade\, who will also be in attendance. \nStaff from the following schools will be in attendance to meet with families: \n\nHigh School: Freedom\nMiddle Schools: Fred M. Lynn\, Hampton\, Potomac\, Rippon\, and Woodbridge\nElementary Schools: Belmont\, Dale City\, Featherstone\, Fitzgerald\, Kilby\, Leesylvania\, Marumsco Hills\, Vaughan\, and Woodbridge\n\nEvent Details\nSaturday\, August 15\, 2026\n11 a.m. – 2 p.m. \nLocation\nFreedom High School\n15201 Neabsco Mills Rd.\nWoodbridge\, VA 22191 \nThe event is outdoors\, rain or shine. \nNo registration is necessary. \nParking\nParking will be available on site at Freedom High School and across the street at Northern Virginia Community College Woodbridge Campus (15200 Neabsco Mills Rd.\, Woodbridge\, VA 22191). \nAccessible parking will be available at Freedom High School. Appropriate credentials must be visibly displayed to enter the lot. \nAdditional Information\nFree backpacks/school supplies will be available to students while supplies last.
