This year’s event is at Leesylvania State Park\, 2001 Daniel K. Ludwig Dr.\, Woodbridge (22191) on Saturday\, Feb. 14\, 2026. \nThe Prince William County Police Department is looking for hardy individuals – or teams of family\, friends\, co-workers\, or organizations – willing to brave the cold temperatures on land\, and in the water\, to help raise money for Special Olympics. \nRegistration is open\, and the public can participate in several ways: \n\nTake the “Plunge\,” either as an individual or as a team that you put together with friends\, neighbors\, family or co-workers. Cast your vote and enter to win a Peep basket of goodies. Forms are available at participating business locations once those are announced in late March. More information \nOccoquan Community Peep Contest: For the 5th year in a row\, the community is invited to participate in the town’s popular Community Peep Contest by designing\, creating\, and submitting family-friendly Peep dioramas. \nEnter by April 11 to win in one of four categories: Individual; Family/Team; Youth (ages 12-16); and Kids (12 and under). Participants can enter the contest by registering here. The community determines the winners. Vote at Town Hall\, at 314 Mill Street in Occoquan from April 12 to April 16. Displays will be available for voting between 9am and 4pm. One vote per category per person. Winners will be announced at 4pm on April 16. \nMore Fun for Lil Peeps on April 16: Kids will enjoy hunting for eggs\, making free Easter crafts\, and meeting the Easter bunny! Bring your own basket.
