DESCRIPTION:The Prince William Planning Office provides innovative land use planning to support Prince William County as an equitable\, sustainable\, and vibrant place offering access to employment\, housing and mobility opportunities while respecting our distinct cultural and environmental resources as well as promoting the quality-of-life values that establish a unique sense of place. To help achieve this vision\, the Planning Office implements the county’s Comprehensive Plan which governs future growth and development through small area planning; review of development applications\, comprehensive plan amendments\, zoning text amendments and public facility reviews; and preservation of the county’s cultural resources. \nThe Planning Office also supports the Planning Commission\, Historical Commission\, Agricultural and Forestal Districts Advisory Committee\, Architectural Review Board\, and the Trails and Blueways Council. \nThe Prince William Planning Office has four divisions: Business Services within the Director’s Office\, Community Planning and Revitalization\, Countywide Planning\, and Land Use Review. \nThe Planning Office is located in the Development Services Building at 5 County Complex Court\, Suite 210\, Prince William\, VA 22192-9201. \nOffice hours are 8:00AM – 5:00PM\, Monday through Friday\, except most Federal holidays. \nPLANNING OFFICE CONTACT INFORMATION: \nPhone: (703) 792-7615\nFax: (703) 792-4401\nE-mail: planning@pwcgov.org
