Emergency Food Resources

We recognize this is a difficult time for many in our community and urge residents facing food insecurity to reach out to organizations that can provide assistance. Below are some resources. Please note, this is not an exhaustive list.

Countywide 

Community Feeding Taskforce Helpline: Call 703-794-4668 Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m., for immediate assistance and to be connected with a pantry.

C.H.O.W. Wagon  Food pantries for children and their families at Prince William County Public Schools. Click here for the program description and list of participating schools.  Donations and volunteers encouraged.

Prince William Health District’s Women, Infants & Children (WIC) – Prince William Health District – Provides supplemental food, health care referrals and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding and non-breastfeeding postpartum women; and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk. Area Agency on Aging  Nutrition services for seniors.

Northern Virginia Food Rescue  Connects individuals with food resources in the community.

Occoquan

Good News Community Kitchen  Provides groceries and personal hygiene items. Some delivery available. For information, email office@tgnck.org.

Dumfries

ACTS  Food Assistance Services offered in English and Spanish. For assistance, email EA@actspwc.us or call 703.221.3186. Donations and volunteers encouraged.

St John’s Community Services  A mobile food pantry bringing food truck into neighborhoods in Prince William, Dumfries, Fairfax, Alexandria, Annandale and Arlington. Call 703-914-2755 or email vaintakes@sjcs.org. Volunteers and donations encouraged. 

Woodbridge
