With the ongoing pandemic and expected high voter turnout, a little planning goes a long this election season. Consider voting early now through Oct. 31, either in-person, curbside or via drop-box. (Any County resident can vote at any early voting location; find one near you.) Long lines are anticipated on Election Day Nov. 3; wear a mask and maintain a 6-foot distance from others while waiting to prevent the spread of COVID-19. You may also want to bring snacks and water. As long as you are in line when the polls close at 7 pm, you will be able to vote. Also, in addition to the Presidential election, voters will have choices for the House of Representatives, Senate and two proposed amendments to the Virginia constitution.
