Voting In Prince William County
It is almost time to once again exercise your right to vote! The next General Election is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Here are some basics to take note of:
Registering to Vote
Voters must register 10 days prior to the next election. You can complete your voter registration online or in person at the Office of Elections (pwcvotes.org). Find out more and register today!
Existing voters who want to check their registration status or update their registration record (for example, following a move within either Prince William County or the state of Virginia), may do so through the VA Elect Citizen Portal.
Early Voting
For the 45 days prior to all elections, PWC voters can vote at any Prince William County early voting location during open hours. Early voting is generally open during the week and is also open on the two Saturdays immediately before Election Day. The last day of early voting is the Saturday prior to Election Day.
The Office of Elections at 9250 Lee Avenue in Manassas, VA is always an early voting location starting 45 days prior to the election. Satellite locations for early voting vary both in number, location, and hours for each election specified by local ordinance.
Early voting does require that a voter shows an acceptable form of ID.
Curbside Voting is Available for seniors and voters with disabilities at all in-person voting locations in designated parking spaces.
Drive-thru voting is not available.

Voting on Election Day
Hours: 6 a.m to 7 p.m.
Locations: Voters should go to their assigned polling place.
Bring the Correct ID:
