Spring Paper Shred
The Prince William County Solid Waste Division will hold a free document shredding event on Saturday, May 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until trucks reach capacity. The event will take place at the Prince William Stadium parking lot, 7 County Complex Court, Woodbridge.
This event is for residents only; no business or commercial patrons are allowed. Only confidential documents such as bank statements and tax returns will be accepted. Removal of regular-sized paper clips and staples is not required. All non-confidential documents, such as junk mail, should be recycled with curbside recycling collection, the Landfill or Compost Facility customer convenience center, or recycling drop-off trailer.
Residents may bring up to the equivalent of four boxes no bigger than 18 inches by 12 inches by 15 inches of paper for shredding on-site at no charge.
