College can be an important pathway to a fulfilling career but finding the right college can be an overwhelming task. Jaclyn Camden, M. Ed., will discuss higher education options for students with I/DD, how to navigate the college search, and how to plan for transition from school to college. To highlight these options, this presentation will take a close look at one of Virginia’s higher education programs, ACE-IT in College. The discussion will conclude with an opportunity for Q & A.
Jaclyn Camden is passionate about equitable access and preparation for postsecondary education and employment for youth with disabilities. She is the Interim Associate Director for the Center on Transition Innovations and a coordinator for ACE-IT in College.
