Join us for a talk by NVCC History Professor Alice Reagan on the The Occoquan Suffrage Prisoners. These female prisoners were jailed at the Lorton Workhouse prison now the Workhouse Arts Center across the river from Occoquan, Virginia. The Lucy Burns Museum at the former prison will have it’s grand opening May 9th, 2020.
