The Vote! 19th Amendment Tours

August 15, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

A hundred years ago, Congress passed the amendment that gave women the right to vote in US elections. This was a not single event but the final phase of a 100-year struggle by women’s rights activists and special interest groups. Join historians at Brentsville Courthouse Historic Centre for special tours of the public lot exploring the historic buildings and special artifacts that tell the story of voting rights in Prince William, and how the struggle for the right to vote evolved locally and across the nation.

Tours will be offered at 11AM and 1PM. Admission is $5 per person, children six and under are free. For more information, please call 703-365-7895.
