Save a trip to the landfill on Saturday, October 4! Supervisor Boddye is partnering with Prince William County Public Works to make it convenient to dispose of old furniture, yard waste, and non-hazardous items by setting up dumpsters at Bethel Church from 10am-1pm. We’ll also collect glass recycling (bottles and jars only), with B-Thrifty accepting items that are “too good to toss” through its Project B-Green campaign.
Please note, we cannot accept:
- Fuel tanks or drums
- Motor oil
- Household hazardous waste (paint thinners, solvents, etc.)
- Electronics (bring these to the landfill Wednesdays and Saturdays)
- Antifreeze
- Pool chemicals
- Construction material
Appliances should be cleaned and emptied, including removing glass trays from microwaves. Doors should be sealed with tape. For more information on proper disposal, contact 703-792-5750 or visit the Solid Waste section of the County website.
