ACTS’ Senior Link call reassurance program

ACTS’ Senior Link call reassurance program

Due to the ever changing situation surrounding COVID-19 concerns, one of the precautions seniors and those with disabilities are choosing is to stay home. ACTS wants you to be aware of our Senior Link Program during this trying time. This free call reassurance program provides scheduled phone calls to senior citizens and those who are disabled and homebound.

Calls are made by trained listeners who provide a caring and warm connection.  They will not provide advice or medication recommendations but can provide referrals to outside agencies.  Senior Link is a supportive supplement to the family and community and not intended as an emergency service.

Senior Link is available 8:00am to 8:00pm, so call recipients are able to choose when they want to receive calls or medication reminders.

Individuals, family members, or friends can “link” up to the program by calling ACTS Helpline at 703-368-4141, or contacting Kate Long at klong@actspwc.org.
