Volunteers clean up the community during Keep Prince William Beautiful event

The weather may be frightful, but a clean community is delightful!

Rollingwood Village residents (and all who want to beautify our community) are invited to join their neighbors and lead by example during a socially-distanced Community Cleanup, organized by Keep Prince William Beautiful (KPWB). This dedicated nonprofit will provide all supplies–including gloves, vests, bags, sanitizer and trash pickers–and Supervisor Kenny Boddye will have coffee and snacks for volunteers. Please bring your own reusable water bottle to use at KPWB’s refill station.

We will meet at Rollingwood Village Park. Registration is staggered to promote distancing; your check-in time will be provided ahead of the event, which runs from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. Mask-wearing and other COVID protocols will be in place. Sign-up online!

As an added bonus, Ballywhack Shack in Occoquan is offering a 20% discount to all of KPWB volunteers during the month of December. Just let them know you were part of the Rollingwood Village cleanup!

To find more ways to protect our environment and beautify our neighborhoods, follow KPWB on Facebook. This environmental organization hosts cleanups most months, and has a number of other programs and educational offerings.
