The Service Authority is managing an emergency project to replace and stabilize an 8-inch sanitary sewer pipe located in the easement near 14011 Telegraph Rd., Woodbridge. (See map below.) Equipment mobilization began this week and the project will start on April 6, with estimated completion on or before May 22, 2020. Sanitary sewer service will not be interrupted during this period.
The Service Authority will be using a contractor, WC Spratt, Inc., to complete the stabilization project for a section of sewer pipe which has been exposed due to creek erosion and is in danger of failure or washout by storm water runoff.
During the project, our contractor and Service Authority staff will enter and exit the easement through Dent Lane. The contractor will use an area at the end of Dent Lane, near the easement, as a staging area. Businesses in that area might also see the contractor’s crew in the woods or hear noise from equipment (dump trucks, tractors, etc.). Scheduled work hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There may be occasional Saturday work with prior authorization from the Service Authority.
If you have any questions regarding this project, please call the Service Authority at 703-335-7982.
