We are pleased to announce that our April 18 Dumpster Day & Community Cleanup was a huge success, thanks to members of our community who came together to participate and volunteer. We collected:
- 1,520 lbs of metal
- 420 lbs of glass
- 3,420 lbs of bulk trash
- 1 truckload of items donated to B-thrifty Woodbridge
The total: 2.68 tons for recycling and landfill.
A big thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and pitched in or took advantage of the chance to spring clean. Special shout outs to Prince William County Government, Virginia Public Works, Rollingwood Village Rec Association, and Project B-green for making it happen, and to Bethel United Methodist Church for hosting.
